I’ve decided to let the Acclaim go seeings we don’t drive it much anymore.

She’s a 1995 Acclaim with 174k on the body. Originally a 2.5L/3-speed car, swapped to a 3.0/4-speed.
Engine is a 3.0 V6 from my 1994 Voyager that was gone through before it was installed around 25k ago.
Trans is from a 1993 Lebaron that had 111k and was also gone through before being installed.
Suspension was rebuilt around 170k, as were brakes on all 4 corners.
Fuel system was redone last fall, new tank, new pump, new lines.
Almost new tires on the 15" Neon wheels.

Runs and drives nice and gets decent economy while being fun to rip around in.

Comes with the SRT4 wheels/tires that are on it, the 15" Neon wheels with newer tires, and a set of 15" steelies with worn snows.

Would like to get $1k for it.

Space scene on the hood/fender/wheel.

Graffiti under the hood and in the wheel wells.

My kids wanted to be involved so I let them have fun. Liked the end result so I ended up leaving it.

It could use tires on the 17" wheels, the ones on them aren’t great.

That’s the only “work” it needs.

Does just the passenger side have the motorized seat belt? I don’t see one for the driver side, which has an air bag. If so, that’s weird.

As far as price, that’s roughly what I have in it. I could probably get more, but I feel it’s a good price and it gets my money back.

I know the paint is going to be a big turn off for a lot of people as well.

It does.

They implemented them in 1994 per govt requirement, then dropped the Acclaim/Spirit/Lebaron after 1995.

The driver’s side never got the auto belt.

But it might be a turn on for some. Anyways, I wouldn’t sell it too short - I think you could easily get a few hundred more for it.

I wonder if you could retro-fit a manual belt from an older Acclaim? I hate mouse motor seat belts. If you were closer to Ohio, I’d be tempted to get the car for my son. He needs a good point A to B beater car.
